I’m Chris, a freelance content creator and storyteller.

Born and raised in Liverpool, I began my career in radio as a newsreader and presenter. While it was such a fun job, it didn’t exactly pay the bills, so I ventured into PR and freelance writing – a move that turned out to be the perfect fit.

I discovered my true passion lies in storytelling – whether it’s sharing my own adventures or shining a spotlight on others’.

Travel is my main niche, and over the years, I’ve explored 25 countries (just 12% of the world, but hey, it’s a work in progress!). Switzerland tops my list of favourites!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been running travel blogs and websites, even successfully selling one along the way. These days, I’m based in beautiful Rutland – England’s smallest county and one of its best-kept secrets.

I create engaging content for brands, run a growing YouTube channel, and write for a variety of travel blogs and platforms.

Much of my work is driven by a passion for slow travel – embracing the journey as much as the destination, whether it’s scenic train rides, cozy local stays, or uncovering off-the-beaten-path adventures.

I’m also deeply committed to supporting local businesses, whether it’s championing a family-run B&B, highlighting regional food and drink, or showcasing local charity groups.

A bit more about me:

  • I’m a keen football fan (Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen), love to ski, and an avid golfer.
  • My vinyl collection spans everything from Fleetwood Mac to Belinda Carlisle, and I love discovering new music. The last record I bought was Tears For Fears.
  • Reading and countryside walks are my go-to ways to recharge – I’m always on the hunt for a great book or a hidden trail.
  • Local food and drink are a big part of my travels – and I never pass up the chance to sample a local beer!

My dream? To embrace the digital nomad lifestyle – slowly travelling the world, uncovering hidden gems, championing local businesses, and sharing stories that inspire others to explore in meaningful ways.

Get in touch – I’d love to hear your story, too!
